Reduced-Rate Therapy

A Space Just for You: Support That Fits Your Life and Your Budget

Sometimes life can feel like a lot. Whether it’s school stress, friendship drama, or just a heavy feeling you can’t quite shake, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

We offer reduced-rate therapy,  with a Masters level Therapist in Training, because we believe everyone deserves a safe place to explore, no matter their budget. Whether you want to meet in-person in Hanover or chat virtually from your own room anywhere in Ontario, we’re here to listen. Our Therapist's in Training are closely supervised by a Registered mental health professional.

What is Therapy, Anyway?

Some people like to think of therapy as a "mental tune-up" or a neutral home base. It isn’t about being "broken"—it’s about having a dedicated teammate to help you navigate the ups and downs of being a human.

Whether you’re dealing with school stress, work burnout, depression, anxiety or just a heavy feeling you can’t quite name, therapy gives you a private space to figure it out.

  • Your No-Judgment Zone: You don’t have to pretend everything is "fine." You can say exactly what’s on your mind without worrying about hurting someone’s feelings or being "too much."

  • Building Your Toolkit: We work on actual strategies for your brain and wellbeing. This might mean learning how to ground yourself when you're overwhelmed or finding ways to communicate so people actually listen.

  • Mapping Your Emotions: Sometimes feelings are like a tangled ball of yarn. We help you find the end of the string and pull it straight. We may use tools lo help name exactly what’s going on inside.

  • Beyond Just Talking: Therapy doesn’t have to be sitting on a couch for an hour. Depending on what you like, we can use art, music, sensory tools, or even games to help express things that are hard to put into words.

How It Works

In-Person (Hanover) or Virtual (All of Ontario)

Once you reach out, we start by having a free consultation call to help determine whether or not we will be a good therapeutic fit, prior to jumping into things. During this call we'll talk about your goals for coming to therapy, our therapeutic approach, and other logistical pieces, such as cost and scheduling.

After the call, we can meet at our cozy office right here in town or you can join a session from your laptop, tablet, or phone. Every human is different, so throughout our time we will use a collaborative approach to help decipher what will be most useful to you and your personal goals. We may meet weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly depending on you and your goals.

"Is this going to be awkward?"

It’s normal to feel a little nervous at first! Our first session is just about getting to know each other. You don't have to have all the answers, and there is no "right way" to do therapy. We go at your pace.

The Logistics

Finding high-quality support shouldn't be a financial burden. Our Reduced-Rate Program is designed specifically for students, youth, and adults who need accessible mental health care.

  • Affordable: Rates are significantly lower than the Ontario average ($150–$200+), making long-term support sustainable.

  • Professional: Sessions are provided by dedicated practitioners who focus on evidence-based, person-centered care.

  • Flexible: No long waitlists. We want to get you the help you need, when you need it.
